One of the most embarrassing problems to have in life is constant bad breath. There are so many instances throughout your day during which you must talk to other people in close proximity. Being self conscious about how your breath smells as you do this is not something anyone wants.
There are plenty of things you could be doing(or not doing) that could be causing you to have less than desirable breath. Below are a few things you should consider if you find yourself suffering from bad breath.
- Tobacco Products
If your are a smoker or you chew tobacco you are likely to experience bad breath pretty often. If you’re not ready to give up the habit yet, try brushing your teeth after each tobacco use to avoid your breath smelling like smoke or chew.
- Brushing Your Teeth Regularly
The number one key to having good breath is to brush your teeth regularly. Once in the morning and once at night is standard, but adding an extra brushing session after meals can also make your breath stay fresh throughout the day.
- Brushing Your Tongue
This is something that is often overlooked when people complete their oral hygiene routine. Bacteria tends to build up on the tongue fairly easily, causing your breath to stink. Remember to brush your tongue every time you brush your teeth and you may find yourself with much better breath after only a few days.
