HAVE YOU EVER GAGGED FROM A DENTAL IMPRESSION?

Taking impressions for crowns bridges and dentures can be an uncomfortable process, especially for someone with a strong gag reflex. When I am a dental patient, having an impression taken is my least favorite part.
Well, we now have dental technology that will eliminate the majority of long uncomfortable impressions, a 3M true definition scanner. What does this mean for you as a patient?
  • More comfortable impressions for crowns bridges and partial dentures.
  • Faster impressions, from 5-6 minutes down to 1-2 minutes.
  • More accurate fitting crowns.
  • Faster turnaround time to get your final crown.
Nobody likes when they get their crown or bridge back and it has to be adjusted, or sent back to be remade. When you take a digital impression, it is sent to the dental lab digitally and they make the crown from that impression. There is more accuracy because less chance for human error. 3M boasts a 99.7% accuracy rate.

Additionally, when the impression is digital, dental labs can process your case much faster, getting your crown back as soon as a few days as opposed to a few weeks.

The bottom line, your next dental crown, bridge or denture just got faster and more comfortable at Sterling Dental Center.
Did I mention that it can also take impressions for implant crowns? If you have ever thought about having a dental implant and putting it off, now is the time to come in for a complimentary Implant consultation. Call Sharon to schedule your appointment.
